Can I upgrade or downgrade anytime?
Yes. Changes take effect at your next billing cycle. You keep access to your current plan until then.
What happens to my memorials if I cancel?
Your memorials stay on the wall permanently. You keep full read access. Editing reverts to Free tier allowances after a short grace period.
What counts as mixed media?
Photos (JPG, PNG, WebP), videos (MP4), audio (MP3, WAV), and documents (PDF). Each file counts as one media item.
Is my data safe?
Yes. BookVitae operates under Japan's Act on Protection of Personal Information (APPI). We never sell personal data.
Can I get a refund?
Premium monthly: cancel anytime, no refund for partial months. Annual: pro-rated refund within the first 30 days. Legacy: full refund within 14 days if merchandise has not shipped.
Do all profiles really get equal visibility?
Yes. BookVitae's democratic wall gives every profile equal rotation regardless of subscription tier. This is a founding principle, not a feature we'd ever change.
